Terms and conditions

Hikes are run by Zviko M, trading as Dumelang Ntate, based in Maputsoe, Lesotho.

A booking request through this website or WhatsApp is not confirmed until I reply with the agreed date, route, group size and price. Group sizes are limited to 5 people.

A 50% deposit confirms your booking and the balance is due on the day of the hike. Card payment via Stripe. Full details are on the Payment Info page.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the hike for a full refund. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice receive a 50% refund. No-shows are treated as late cancellations.

Safety comes first. I may change the route, shorten a hike or cancel entirely because of weather, road conditions, illness or anything else that makes the day unsafe. In that case we reschedule at no cost or you receive a full refund.

Hiking in the mountains carries inherent risks. You confirm that you are fit enough for the route you have chosen and that you have told me about any medical condition, injury or allergy that could affect the day. You agree to follow my instructions on the trail. You take part at your own risk and I am not liable for injury, illness or loss except where it results from my own negligence.

Children 12 and under hike free but must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult in the group at all times.

Please look after your own equipment, phone, camera and valuables. I cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged on a hike.

I often film and photograph hikes for my YouTube and social channels. If you would prefer not to appear, tell me before the hike and I will keep you out of the footage. Otherwise you agree that I may use images and video from the day on my channels and this website.

Hikes booked through Get Your Guide are also subject to that platform's own booking, payment and cancellation terms.

Prices, routes and these terms may change from time to time. The terms and price agreed at the time your booking was confirmed are the ones that apply to your hike.
